ShriVallabh Pittie Industries Ltd., one of the units of SVP Global Ventures Ltd., has set up a manufacturing facility of 1,00,000 spindles of compact cotton yarn at Jhalawar, Rajasthan, with capital outlay of Rs. 450 crores. The company is also implementing another manufacturing facility of 50,000 spindles compact cotton yarn and 2,400 rotors at Jhalawar, Rajasthan.
The plant is fully automated with 100,000 spindles. With a manufacturing capacity of 22,000 tonnes per annum, it is spread across 25 acres of land built at an estimated cost of approximately Rs. 450 crores. SVP’s capacity now will increase to 2,00,000 owned spindles as the new plant will produce high quality compact yarn of count 20 to 60.
