Rabatex’ special weaving preparatory solutions for technical textiles

Speaking to The Textile Magazine, Mr. Haresh Panchal observed that Rabatex has a wide range of weaving preparatory equipments, from direct warpers to the more advanced computerised sectional warpers for the weaving preparatory segment, including technical and industrial fabrics.

Rabatex is also the first Indian company to develop a single-end warping machine for sample fabrics. Several composite textile and weaving mills are opting for Rabatex sample warpers. It is also one of the first in India to introduce multi axis servo-driven sectional warping machines.

Apart from warping machines, Rabatex supplies material handling and storage equipments mainly meant for the weaving preparatory section. It also manufactures storage equipment for the segment and  supplies customised cone creels.

Rabatex has manufacturing facilities with built-up area of 125,000 sq. feet, and with state-of-the-art machineries and CNC equipments, a separate R&D section, laboratory and world class testing equipments, along with skilled workers and qualified technocrats. It plans to expand the built-up area to 200,000 sq. feet in the next two years.

According to Mr. Panchal, there is cut-throat competition in the warping machinery manufacturing industry. However, Rabatex has been able to bag repeat orders from India’s reputed weavers, thanks to the company focus on product quality.

Till date, Mr. Panchal claims to have installed 2,500 sectional warpers and 4,500 material handling, storage and customised equipments across Indian mills, and counts Arvind Ltd., SRF Ltd., Ashima Ltd., Donier, Raymond, BSL, Bombay Rayon, Century Industries, OCM, etc., among its major clients.

Rabatex also supplies warping solutions for technical textiles, like sectional warping machines, and customised creels for geo-textiles, glass fibre and carbon fibre yarns. It has aftersales service centres in virtually every textile hub across India, provided with spares and parts.

At ITMA 2015, Rabatex displayed an advanced sectional warping machine to match the demanding global textile industry needs, apart from a newly-developed ultrasonic reed cleaning machine and motorised material handling and storage equipments.
