Mr. Ravichandran Purushothaman, President, Danfoss Industries Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, has been nominated as the Chairman of the Chennai Zonal Council for 2014-15. Mr. Purushothaman is an active member of CII and was the Vice Chairman of the CII Chennai Zonal Council and also the convenor of the membership panel during 2013-14. He is one of the key members who have developed the new growth strategy for Danfoss India and has been instrumental in building the market in India for Power Electronics which has significantly contributed to help the organisation acquire the third position in the PE industry.
An electronics & communication engineer, he has done his management programme at IIM Ahmedabad.
