Schoch Reeds has been a prominent player in the weaving industry for years. For more than a century, the company has been manufacturing quality reeds to cater to the needs of the global weaving market. It made its entry into the Indian market in 2009 and made rapid inroads in a relatively short period of time. The importance of the Indian market for the company can be gauged from the fact that it has set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Kolhapur in Maharashtra.

We have been appreciated by the Indian market for our quality and strong after-sales service network. We see huge business potential in India.”

Listing out the key achievements of Schoch Reeds since its entry into the Indian market, Mr. Dev said: “We mostly concentrated on energy saving reeds on different looms of European & Japanese make for the last 12 months. In today’s highly competitive market, where weavers need to reduce production cost, our concept of energy audit is highly appreciated. Our biggest achievement is the success of our energy saving reeds and the increase in awareness levels about energy savings that we have been able to inculcate in customers.”
