Mr. Marco Sarain and Mr. Christian Widmer have been appointed CFO and Head of After Sales Services respectively of Swiss-based Schärer Schweiter Mettler AG (SSM), Horgen.
Mr. Sarain has a degree in finance from the Graduate School of Business Administration Zurich (GSBA Zurich) and an Executive Master of Corporate Finance (IFZ Zug). He acquired his proven management skills in various executive positions and in the machine manufacturing industry for many years, most recently as CFO of Carl Heusser AG in Cham, Switzerland.
Mr. Widmer has worked for SSM since 2008 as Head of the Operations Department. His extended area of responsibility is a perfect match to bring knowledge together to fully satisfy SSM customers.
Despite the competitive situation in the textile machinery business, SSM has been able to maintain its market leadership and to excel within the holding company, Schweiter Technologies.
