The very name Autotex has come to be associated with product innovation. A strong R&D focus and product development team that is always on the look-out for end-user feedback has enabled it to garner several firsts to its credit – whether being the first company to introduce bobbin holders with a trouble-free ratchet mechanism in the Indian market in 1992, or the first to introduce bobbin holders for autocreel system in the Indian market in 1995. The latest launch from Autotex is the bobbin holder with a 4-point holding system.

Going into the details of the innovative bobbin holder, Mr. D.S. Senthil Kumar, Vice President of the company explained: ”Bobbins falling off is a safety hazard faced at most spinning mills. It could be due to irregular inner profile in the roving bobbins, tilting of bobbins during roving, irregular positioning at auto doffing, etc. Our new concept of 4-point holding system provides a permanent solution to the above issues.”

The 4-point holding system ensures a better hold and prevents bobbins from falling while traveling overhead.

“Apart from the safety aspect the new concept also helps in ensuring savings too. Most of our customers have given us the feedback about the system that they are able to use the roving bobbins even with the chipped off edges at the inner profiles, which earlier they could not use and had no option but to scrap them,” added Mr. Senthil Kumar.

Autotex also offers bobbin holders featuring a unique suspension system which helps absorb the shock caused due to excess force applied to the holder during loading and unloading of the roving bobbins. The suspension system helps the operators too, for the cushioning effect reduces impact on their shoulders, thereby improving productivity.

Today the company, with its worldwide reputation, supplies its products to several key global markets.
