With over three decades in filtration business and on-site manufacturing of filtration products and filtration media, Khosla Profil Pvt. Ltd. delivers rare filtration expertise and support.

A leading manufacturer of technical textiles, the company supplies industrial filtration products and filter media to firms engaged in filtering liquids for industrial process applications. Under the leadership and guidance of its Founder and Chairman, Mr. Pramod Khosla, the company has been able to carve a formidable position for itself in this highly competitive market. Over the years, Khosla has gained the reputation of a committed and resourceful supplier providing outstanding technical services to its customers worldwide.

Toiling hard to get an insight into filter bag making and selection of best material is what set the company apart from its competitors. As its popularity grew among industry circles, Khosla soon gauged the pulse of the market and started manufacturing made-ups/finished products as per the specific requirements of the industry.

Products from Khosla’s portfolio are manufactured using highly advanced and modern machineries that help in delivering an impeccable finish to the final product.

In an exclusive interview to The Textile Magazine, Mr. Pramod Khosla says: “Investing on best technology has helped us achieve excellence beyond our imagination. Right now our filters are rated as one of the top three players in the world.”

Housing weaving machines from Dornier, he adds, “Dornier is the most versatile and the best suited machines for our wide range of products.”

For decades, Indian customers have had a huge dependency on Khosla’s technical knowledge in the development and manufacture of custom filtration equipment and prompt, reliable consultation for their unique filtration applications. In the late 1990s, the company decided to branch out and enter the export market. In 2013, out of the group turnover, nearly 65 per cent was met through exports.

“We have several projects lined up in the pipeline. A non-woven plant and a circular and spiral fabric project will be commissioned in the next 18 months. We are targeting a revenue of Rs. 500 crores by 2020”, adds Mr. Khosla.

The company is gearing up for massive expansion in various segments. Expanding its mono-filament spinning capacity from 40 tonnes to 150 tonnes and a small spinning unit to manufacture specialized corse-count yarn will be a very big step into backward integration.

Technological leadership driven by strong R&D capabilities, vast distribution networks, a comprehensive product portfolio and a global footprint with over 800 employees, four production sites, a lab/testing facility and an export presence in over 45 countries guarantee that Khosla Profil customers can count on the broadest availability of speciality fabrics and dry filter products in the industry.
