An insertion system with ultra positive content
The insertion system features a special approach: the new
PGA rapiers (patented) surpass the limits of the previous
negat ive exchange systems, for unbounded unique
multipurpose weaving.
In order to guarantee the Alpha PGA's unprecedented
versatility, we have developed new-concept rapiers for a
revolutionary approach to the daily demands for extreme
weavabi l ity. The true weaving heart of the loom now
reaches levels of excellence in flexibility and ease of use,
being the evolution of our expertise built up over decades of
supremacy in the field. Simple, precise adjustments let you
adapt the rapiers to all yarn types, while a new geometry
makes them ultra precise and well-timed during gripping
and exchange, not to mention hardwearing and unaffected
by dirt.
The extraordinarily simple construction, the robustness of all
components and the perfect balance of the rapiers on the
tapes guarantee long life and easy maintenance.
The tape guiding hook has been completely redesigned to
cut the style-change machine set-up significantly, while
at the same time reducing the weight of the sley and, as a
direct result, cutting vibrations as the tapes run across the
loom.
The carbon toothed wheel guarantees great rigidity and
stability, while the wider take-up angle reduces the strain on
the rapier tapes, for long duration.
The electronically controlled motorised weft cutter device
allows to vary the cutting moment, adapting it to the specific
needs of every single weft: used in synergy with the new
PGA rapiers (patented), this enhances the versatility of the
entire insertion system.
A brilliant system, based on coupling the cam mechanical
system that moves the blades with precision and constant
cutting force, while the second motor commands the device
in accordance with the parameters set directly from the
console.
The Alpha PGA adapts even better to all weaving situations,
and at lower cost and with less maintenance all at the same
