For Global Nanotech, ITMA ASIA 2025 in Singapore proved to be a milestone event—one that validated its product strategy, global reach and continued investment in new ink technologies. According to Dr. Dhara Choksi, Managing Director, the company’s second ITMA participation after Milan exceeded expectations, attracting high-quality leads from unexpected international markets across South America, Asia, and Africa.

With a diversified product portfolio, strong regional presence and a clear roadmap for innovation, Global Nanotech is positioning itself as one of India’s most dynamic ink technology companies.
A Strong Display of Core and Emerging Ink Technologies
At the Singapore show, Global Nanotech showcased the products that have been foundational to its growth—its pigment dispersions, used by ink manufacturers for both packaging and textile applications. These dispersions remain one of the company’s longest-developed and most stable product lines, with
Global Nanotech being among the few Indian companies that manufacture inks from scratch.

Alongside dispersions, the company highlighted its rapidly expanding portfolio of dye sublimation inks and DTF inks. With DTF continuing to dominate global demand, particularly across Southeast Asia, Singapore proved an ideal platform for exposure.
“DTF is still trending everywhere, and having our own company and warehouse in Singapore makes it very easy for us to cater to Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and the entire Asia-Pacific region,” Dr. Choksi explained.

Their Singapore-based subsidiary, Prismate, has been operating for five years, serving as a supply hub and helping the company respond faster to regional market needs. The choice to exhibit at ITMA Singapore—rather than Shanghai—was deliberate, driven by the company’s strong understanding of the local market and the growing opportunities in the region.
A Continuous Pipeline of Innovation, Driven by Market Realities
Dr. Choksi emphasized Global Nanotech’s philosophy of continuous innovation, born out of the challenges and shifts in global textile markets. “When one door closes, you need to try and open the second one,” she said, referencing how market downturns in regions like Turkey and Surat have pushed the company to expand and diversify.
A major upcoming milestone is the company’s launch of pigment ink in January, targeting direct-to-fabric wide-format printers from Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, and others. Once this project stabilizes and partnerships with printer manufacturers strengthen, the company plans to expand further into water-based packaging inks, followed by UV inks, marking a strategic shift toward high-value global markets.
“Sustainability plays a big role in this roadmap,” she explained.
Pigment inks inherently reduce water pollution compared to dyes and digital printing minimizes waste through low minimum order quantities and efficient material use. Global Nanotech also collaborates with ink manufacturers working on sustainable DTF solutions, including recyclable film alternatives. For several U.S.-based companies focused on sustainability, Global Nanotech supplies dispersions that serve as the foundation for their eco-friendly inks.
Global Expansion Amid Market Disruptions
Geopolitical uncertainties have prompted the company to broaden its global footprint. Iran, once one of Global Nanotech’s largest markets, experienced a prolonged slowdown, prompting the company to accelerate outreach into new geographies. This has led to a packed exhibition calendar, including FESPA Mexico, Long Island (USA), Brazil, FESPA Barcelona, FESPA Mexico (2026), and ITME Noida.
“We realised the demand for our market is everywhere—some of our strongest leads this year even came from Fiji,” Dr. Choksi shared. To meet growing demand, Global Nanotech is expanding capacity and expects to be three times its current size by January.
Building a Future-Ready Organisation
For Dr. Choksi, one of the most important aspects of Global Nanotech’s journey is the strength of its team. “Without a great team, nothing ever works,” she said. As the company grows, she believes the team must grow with it—professionally, technically, and structurally. Her vision is to create a long-term organisation where people evolve in parallel with the company’s expansion into new technologies and global markets.
With a strong showing at ITMA ASIA 2025, a robust innovation pipeline, and expanding global presence, Global Nanotech continues to strengthen its position as a leading ink technology company from India. Driven by product diversification, sustainability-focused innovation, and a dedicated team, the company is well-prepared for future growth. As Dr. Choksi summed up, “The best way to win in any market is to ensure the company and its people grow together.”
