K. M. Subramanian Re-Elected as President of Tiruppur Exporters’ Association

Mr. K. M. Subramanian has been re-elected unopposed as the President of the Tiruppur Exporters’ Association (TEA). To extend their congratulations, Mr. KCM Srinivasan, Tiruppur North District President, along with district administrators, visited the Association office and conveyed their best wishes.

During the meeting, the district leadership also held detailed discussions with Mr. Subramanian on the challenges faced by the industry, particularly the impact of recent U.S. tariffs on textile exports. They assured that the matter has been taken up with their party’s higher leadership, and regular updates are being shared. The leaders further expressed optimism that a positive announcement addressing the issue will be made soon.

On behalf of the exporters’ community, Mr. Subramanian extended his gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister and Finance Minister for the recent GST measures announced by the Central Government, which he said would greatly benefit the knitting and textile sector.

The Tiruppur Exporters’ Association, under the leadership of Mr. Subramanian, continues to play a pivotal role in voicing industry concerns, promoting growth, and ensuring Tiruppur retains its position as India’s leading knitwear export hub.
