Palladam Open House showcases a productivity-boosting innovation tailor-made for polyester and nylon
Rabatex Industries has been a pioneer in warp preparatory and sampling textile machinery, recognized for its engineering excellence, innovation, and reliability. A.T.E. represents Rabatex products across India, ensuring nationwide reach and support.

In line with this commitment, Rabatex, in association with A.T.E., recently hosted a distinctive Open House in Palladam, near Tirupur — an event that stood out for both its setting and its focus. Unlike conventional showcases held in exhibition halls, this event took place on the shop floor of VSS Textiles, a fast-emerging player in the region’s synthetic yarn sector.
Showcasing a Technological Leap
The highlight of the Open House was the Mother Mono Yarn Split Sectional Warper, installed and operational at VSS Textiles. Alongside, visitors also saw live demonstrations of other advanced Rabatex machines, including the Split Winder, Sample Weaving Loom, Sample Warper, and Single End Sizing equipment.

Rabatex first unveiled the Mother Mono Yarn Split Sectional Warper at SITEX 2024 in Surat, where it quickly created a stir, particularly among manufacturers in the polyester segment. Its arrival in Palladam signals the growing relevance of synthetic fibers — even in Tirupur, a region traditionally dominated by cotton.
Innovation Driven by Market Needs
Haresh Panchal, Managing Director of Rabatex, underscored the company’s philosophy of constant innovation. “At Rabatex, we have consistently introduced market-driven products at regular intervals. The Mother Mono Yarn Split Sectional Warper is the latest step in this journey,” he said.

He credited the company’s strong partnership with A.T.E. for its successful penetration across multiple regions in India. “With industry trends showing a gradual shift toward synthetics, this technology has been embraced in the southern market as well. We are confident of deepening our presence with A.T.E.’s support,” he pointed out.
A.T.E.’s Perspective on Market Shift
Speaking about A.T.E.’s association with Rabatex, Varghese Xavier, Regional Head – South at A.T.E., noted the significance of the machine in the current business climate.
“This segment was earlier dominated by Chinese machines; however, many domestic fabric manufacturers are now turning to high-quality Indian alternatives. Rabatex has emerged as a front-runner, offering a robust range of weaving preparatory machinery.”
Why the Mother Mono Yarn Split Sectional Warper Stands Out
Rabatex’s latest innovation is purpose-built for warping polyester and nylon mother yarn, eliminating a key step in the conventional process. Traditionally, mother yarn is first split and wound onto cops, which are then used to feed sectional warping machines. The new design bypasses the cop winding stage entirely.
According to Mr. Panchal, “By removing the cop winding step, we not only boost productivity but also cut related costs, energy use, and labor requirements. This is a win-win for mills looking to improve efficiency.”
At present, the machine is capable of handling yarns in the 10–20 denier range, with development underway to process even finer deniers.
Strong Regional Interest
M.Rajinikanth, Deputy General Manager- Textile Engineering Group- Fabric Forming, A.T.E., highlighted the growing traction for the machine in South India. “This is already the fourth installation in this region alone, with fresh enquiries continuing to come in. Mill owners are seeing first-hand the productivity gains and operational savings it delivers.”
He explained that the system’s creel comes with 128 ends, each capable of being split into 12 or 16 filaments. These split filaments are fed directly to the sectional warping beam, streamlining the process and ensuring higher throughput.
An Event that Delivered Value
The Open House drew more than 200 visitors, a majority of them being senior decision-makers from leading mills in the region. The live demonstrations offered attendees an up-close look at the machine’s operation, allowing them to assess its potential for their own manufacturing setups.
For Rabatex and A.T.E., the event was not only a product showcase but also a platform to reinforce their shared vision: to provide the Indian textile industry with home-grown, world-class technology that boosts efficiency, reduces costs, and meets the demands of a rapidly changing market.
With the Mother Mono Yarn Split Sectional Warper gaining ground in both established and emerging textile hubs, it is clear that Rabatex’s innovation — powered by A.T.E.’s market reach — is set to reshape sectional warping in the synthetic yarn segment.
