Where quality meets comfort: Tirupur’s Whiteflowerr Towels makes its mark

Tirupur never ceases to amaze. This vibrant textile hub seems to have entrepreneurship woven into its very fabric. With each passing day, new names emerge from this industrious city—each poised to leave its unique imprint. The latest to join this illustrious line-up is Whiteflowerr, a brand already creating ripples in the market with its luxurious, skin-friendly towels.

Launched during Bharat Tex 2025, Whiteflowerr is not just another brand from Tirupur—it’s a thoughtful extension of a legacy. A sister concern of Clothing Connections, a company that has carved a niche in babywear since 2008, Whiteflowerr embodies the same commitment to quality and comfort.

“Clothing Connections has been an established name in babywear since 2008. Our babywear has always been known for its excellent fabric quality. People vouch for the feel of the fabric, as well as its durability. That is where the thought of making towels from similar fabrics emerged. And thus, we decided to start Whiteflowerr in 2024. The formal launch of Whiteflowerr took place at Bharat Tex 2025,” shared Renu, Founder of Whiteflowerr.

Why towels?

While Tirupur has traditionally been recognized for its expertise in apparel and garments, Whiteflowerr’s foray into towels may appear unconventional at first. But Renu explains the genesis of the idea with a story that underscores the brand’s customer-centric approach.

“We used to gift our fabric to close relatives and friends, who would often drape it around their kids. Many of them told us that their children just loved the feel of the fabric. So much so that they wouldn’t sleep without them. That set us thinking,” she recalled.

This led to further research, and what they discovered only strengthened their resolve. “We found that many people today suffer from skin issues, and a major reason is dry skin. While most people focus on skincare products, they overlook the role towels play. Rough, abrasive towels strip away the body’s natural moisture. Whiteflowerr towels are manufactured in such a way that they help retain this natural moisture,” she explained.

Strong foundation

Whiteflowerr benefits immensely from its parent company’s experience. With around 75-80% of Clothing Connections’ products dedicated to newborns and children up to four years old, the brand has deep expertise in organic, skin-friendly fabrics.

“This made us very strong in the organic fabric sector. Soft, sustainable products have always been our strength. We are leveraging this key strength for Whiteflowerr towels too,” said Renu.

The towels are produced in a modern facility staffed by 40 skilled team members, where quality takes precedence over everything else. “We are constantly finding ways to upgrade our infrastructure. We are committed to a quality-first approach. We believe that our products should speak for themselves. We were overwhelmed by the response received by our towels during Bharat Tex 2025. The response is a testimony to the team effort that goes into manufacturing every one of our towels,” she added with pride.

Competitive edge

At the heart of Whiteflowerr’s success is an unwavering focus on comfort, breathability, and sustainability. “As I mentioned earlier, it is the feel that makes them special. This is possible because we use only natural fibre—100% cotton. Remember, a baby’s skin is seven times thinner than an adult’s. The fabric, therefore, has to be skin-friendly,” said Renu.

She further explained that, unlike many commercially available towels that may look plush but aren’t breathable, Whiteflowerr towels strike the perfect balance. “There are a lot of towels in the market that appear luxurious, but are not breathable. They are woven very close to make them look thick. But in our case, while structure-wise it is bulky, it is very light and breathable. They are woven in multiple layers, which enables air to move freely.”

The company also ensures that every stage of the process contributes to the final product’s excellence. “We take ultimate care to ensure the softness is achieved during processing. This imparts superior absorbing capacity to the towels. What’s more, our towels also become better after each wash, in terms of feel and color,” she said.

Even though many of the production processes, such as knitting, dyeing, weaving, and processing, are outsourced, the team remains deeply involved. “We still take care of every aspect, right from sourcing raw materials to selecting the machines used. Each machine gives a different output. We also talk to the people who are involved in the process and explain to them what this product is meant for. The result is a durable, value-for-money proposition for the end customer,” Renu elaborated.

Looking ahead

Whiteflowerr may be a new name, but it’s already making waves. “It is still early days for us. We have plans to gradually expand. We’ve been testing the waters at several leading trade expos, and the response has been excellent. We are planning to increase our retail presence and are also in talks to finalize export orders. We are confident of creating a distinct mark in the towel space” Renu  said with quiet confidence.
