Amarjothi: Emerging a global leader in Melange yarn

Indians were the pioneers in making the Melange Yarn for the first time in 1980s. It may be defined as the yarn produced by the Amarjothi-PremChander-piccombination of at least two or more than two fibers. The multiple types of fiber of differentiated colors are arranged randomly and piled one upon another into a stack of layers to get different shades. The yarn can be produced in a variety of colors and combination of materials.

The Amarjothi Group of Tirupur is a multi-faceted organization, providing an array of products and services for textile yarn and fabric industries. Started in 1987 by Mr. N. Rajan, Chairman, Amarjothi Spinning Mills (P) Ltd. (ASML) began its journey with the manufacture of cotton yarn in different varieties and counts. Today, it is among the top five Indian suppliers of Mélange yarn which can be directly used in garmenting unlike grey yarn that needs dyeing. It also boasts of the highest capacity to manufacture melange yarn in the region.

With its advanced manufacturing facility and office right in the heart of Tirupur, Amarjothi Mills enjoys the advantage of a strategic location for supplying products to its clients.
