A.B. Carter India is showcasing its expertise in rings and ring travellers at India ITME 2016. The company which has been growing steadily has through its sharp R&D focus emerged as a preferred choice of spinning mills around the country.
In an exclusive chat with The Textile Magazine, Mr. Sandeep Shetty, Director, and Mr. B.R. Nand Kishore, Head – Sales & Marketing, gave an overview of the company’s participation in India ITME 2016.
Speaking about the company’s expectations from the textile machinery trade show, Mr. Sandeep Shetty said: “We have been regularly participating in India ITME. Our expectations from the event are pretty high, with the torch-bearers of the spinning sector evincing keen interest in our rings and ring travellers.”
Going into details about the products that the company is showcasing at the event, Mr. Nand Kishore stated: “A.B. Carter has always been a ‘Package Solution Provider’ for rings and travellers. We launched our latest range of ‘Ultra Series’ ring travellers and ‘XCalibur’ rings at the event.”
Elaborating on the key factors that give the company’s products the competitive edge, Mr. Shetty remarked: “Our main focus is for the spinner to overcome the challenges foreseen in compact spinning application where the speed factor has to be met, while also ensuring minimum start-up end breaks and overall end breakage to be less and adhering to appreciable quality parameter levels.”
He further said that the ‘XCalibur Rings’ launched by the company score in the areas of having superior sustainability at higher speeds and ensuring better quality output. Similarly the new range of ‘Ultra Ring Travellers’ are very effective in achieving higher spindle speed, while also ensuring considerable lesser downtime, factors which result in higher productivity.

Speaking further on technical back-up support services, Mr. Sandeep Shetty observed that A.B. Carter addresses the “Pain Points” experienced by the spinner, specifically for compact and high-speed spinning with customized solutions.
The company has a huge range of ring traveller profiles that could resolve issues with respect to smooth performance for want of apt and matching ring traveller, based on the given ring condition.
Further, the company ensures fast delivery of ring travellers with ready stock ‘On Time’ Buffer arrangement at the works, helps the client maintain less inventory while also ensuring saving of precious space at the mills.
