A.T.E.’s specialized lubrication training helps optimise machine uptime

Proper and timely lubrication plays an important role in equipment maintenance and contributes to improved machine uptime, productivity and quality of output and in reduced cost of maintenance. Lubrication requirements vary from machine to machine and at various production stages. Individual friction points on machines may require different types of lubricants depending on the load, speed and the exposure of the bearings, chain and gear wheel vibrations.

Considering the importance of proper and timely lubrication, A.T.E. has devised a specialized training on lubrication for textile processing units. The training, imparted by A.T.E.’s highly trained team of engineers, covers both classroom and on-the-job training, during which the A.T.E. trainers help the operators attend the training to prepare and analyse the lubrication requirements for various machines and simultaneously explain and demonstrate to the machine operators the right lubricant and the right method of application.

A.T.E. recently organized a training on lubrication for Alok Industries, Vapi, covering Monforts stenters, shrinking ranges, pad dry machines, E-control machine, MXL machines and Osthoff singeing machines. Staff members from engineering, production and shop-floor attended the training.

Mr. Vivek Tripathi of the HR Department at Alok observed: “We appreciate your efforts to provide us information on various lubes & oils. The feedback we received from the participants is that the training program was very intense and applicable for our process machines. We hope the session will achieve its purpose and help us in our machine maintenance and reduce wear & tear of the bearings. Various brands that were discussed will be helpful for day-to-day machine upkeep”.

A.T.E. now represents Corino in south India too

A.T.E. has been representing Corino Macchine SpA, Italy, for its entire range of processing machinery over most of India for the last five years. Strengthening the partnership between A.T.E. and Corino further, the representation is now extended to south India as well, thus covering the entire country. A.T.E. will also be taking care of after-sales service for Corino, including erection, commissioning and trouble-shooting of Corino machinery for all over India.

Corino is the market leader for wet slit opening plants with dewatering and finishing padders and tubular squeezers for knitted fabrics. The bio-wash tank system which is incorporated into Corino’s wet slitting plants is a revolutionary advance, making Corino the preferred choice for textile processors. Together, Corino and A.T.E. have successfully built up Corino’s references in north, west and east India, with a strong customer base that covers many leading names such as Alok, Arvind, Bhoomi Textiles, P C Colours, Winsome, Paragon, Shyam Indospin and Innovative Textiles. A.T.E. is now looking forward to extending Corino’s references across the country.

With this development, textile processors in south India can enjoy the convenience of dealing with a single source for all their processing machinery requirements.
