Bishnu Texport: Expanding capacity of functional yarns

The company is going to double its production capacity of air covered yarns in 2022 and is already in discussion with SSM, Switzerland for the same.

BishnuTexport Private Limited, a New Delhi-based leading functional yarn producer, is all set to increase its value-added functional yarns including fine deniers of air intermingled or air covered and conventional covered (single and double) yarns. The company is renowned for specialty air covered yarns (10-200 denier) and very well-respected amongst its customers – domestic as well as overseas. It has doubled its capacity last year in spite of the pandemic and tough times worldwide. With the support of its valued customers, this enhanced capacity has been running full after installation and commissioning.

With the addition of new imported machines to produce conventional single covered yarns and double covered yarns last year, the company has entered the fray to cater to the niche segments of functional textiles, aviation and medical sectors. The company is going to double its production capacity of air covered yarns in 2022 and is already in discussion with SSM, Switzerland for the same.

Besides manufacturing, the company is actively involved in trading in association with Asahi Kasei Co. Ltd., Japan for their products Bemberg (cupro fibres and filaments) and ROICA (spandex yarns). The company had the pleasure to welcome Toshikazu Uchida, Managing Director and Saurabh Suryavanshi, Director of Teijin Frontier India Private Limited to the company’s manufacturing facility to see its infrastructure. “As our relentless efforts to produce and promote very special functional yarns we are under discussion with Teijin Frontier India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Teijin Limited, Japan to get specialised raw materials from them to produce ultra-functional yarns for high-end fashion textiles,” said Upendra Yadav, Global Business Head (Textiles) of Bishnu Texport.
