Cutting-edge electronics for total machine automation
The CAN-BUS architecture of the Alpha PGA's electronic
control system, featuring great power and high speed, makes
it possible to adopt some new interesting technological
solutions and perfect integration of the many electronic
devices.
From the console to the push-button panels, from the
warning lamps to the alarms, al l parts are now freely
accessible and easy to use: these important details prove
that the designers had in mind the weavers, the maintenance
staff and their requirements.
The user interface is particularly user-friendly and, at the
same time, complete for total control of every loom function.
With its open design, the loom can be connected to all
external communication systems for total integration of the
loom in centralised control systems.
The electronic drives of the let-off and take-up motors adopt
the principle of the fully synchronised elecrical gear and are
fitted with a new powerful motorization that lets them cover
all speed, weft density and warp tension requirements.
The compact size of the 4-8-12 weft colour selector is
obtained thanks to the l inear motors: 100% electronic
programming of the movements and the original colour

and easy management, even in the case
of extremely demanding wefts.
The electronically controlled leno device with its
l inear motors guarantees extremely easy
management, thanks to the fully electronic
set-up and total reliability: the software that
governs the electronic leno device and
false selvedge offers you the chance to
adapt the selvedge closing time to each
weft also in relation to the pattern. The
machine's application potential is thus increased,
due to the waste weft greatly reduced (Itema
patent). The loom can be equipped with the new
electronic weft brake devices, directly controlled by
the microprocessor and with total programming of the
braking intensity and timing. This means that useless
stops are now avoided and a wider range of yarns can
be used.
On request, the loom can be supplied with motorised
selvedge cutters to guarantee greater constancy and
precision. These are particularly useful when weaving fabrics
with highly complex weft patterns.
