Chiorino has its Indian entity, Franstek Belts Pvt. Ltd., with its manufacturing facility in Goa. Mr. Avinash Pai heads the Indian operations and has established a strong network of distributors across the country.

Chiorino recently participated in Texfair along with Naren Textile Engineers, the company associate in the South. At Texfair, Chiorino launched its energy conserving CHIO-XTPE sandwich belts and oil and high temperature-resistant HS rubber-covered nylon sandwich power transmission belts.

Mr. Avinash Pai, Executive Director, Franstek Belts, said: “The response at Texfair was very encouraging. A special mention must be made of the NAREN team. We had a spectacular launch to underline our presence in the textile industry. The ‘soft’ launch we had in 2014 is encouraging and the highlights were that we were able to get recognition from our valued customers for our CHIORINO brand. I must confess that we have a long way ahead! We are expanding our team for marketing and enhancing our service capabilities. Shortly we will launch our textile printing blanket range”.
