Nahar Spinning Mills Ltd. started out as a tiny worsted spinning & hosiery unit in Ludhiana. The company steadily grew to emerge a manufacturer and exporter of woollen/cotton hosiery knitwears and woollen textiles. In 1992, as a measure of backward integration, the company diversified into the spinning industry.

Nahar Spinning currently has an installed capacity of five lakh spindles and 1,080 rotors which has enabled it to position itself as one of the leading integrated textile players to reap the benefits of economies of scale and become globally competitive in terms of cost and quality.

The superfine quality yarn produced by the unit is being used by the manufacturers of fine quality garments for export. The unit is catering to both, the domestic hosiery garment and export markets.

An ISO 9002 company, Nahar Spinning has seven multi-location plants, a range of products, over 60 per cent of which is aimed at export markets – the US, the UK, France, Brazil, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Hondurus, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Netherlands, Japan, Canada, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Egypt and Russia.

Nahar is also equipped with facilities to produce from most coarse to the finest yarns with the latest state-of-art machineries: Blow rooms are from Trützschler equipped with Bale Pluckers, Vision Shield, Chute feeds system to feed latest Rieter cards, Combers from Rieter, Compact Ring Frames from Rieter K-44, conventional ring frames from LMW and Kirloskar Toyoda, auto corners equipped with splicers and contamination control channels, Two-for-one twister (TFO) from Volkman, SSM precision winders and heat setting machines from Xorella, and the largest installation of LOPTEX machines.

R&D equipped with USTER HVI 900/HVI- Spectrun and Advanced Fiber Information System (AFIS), ZWEIGLE Fabric Stimulation System, OASYS-Hairness Tester, MESDAN- Spliced Scanner and complete range of fiber, yarn and fabric testing equipments.
