HYOSUNG, the largest spandex manufacturer in the world, has just expanded its production capacity in China and Vietnam. While the additional capacity in China is to meet the growing consumer for spandex, that in Vietnam is in an anticipation of the passing of the TPP agreement.
In addition to investment in capacity, HYOSUNG has opened a Textile Development Center in China to focus on fabric development and innovation. The center covers hosiery, seamless, circular knitting and weaving equipment. It would use the facilities to prove out new creora product innovation as well as develop new prototype concepts to integrate in customized business development workshops.
