Jushi to start production in India by 2020

With its expertise in fiberglass products and a global reach, the company has plans to start production in India by 2020

Jushi India Fiberglass (P) Ltd. is a 100% subsidiary of China’s Jushi Group. The parent company has a total capacity of 2 million MT with plants located in China, Egypt and the US. In 2020-2021, Jushi India Fiberglass aims to start production at its plant in Maharashtra with a capacity of 1,00,000 MT. Jushi’s product portfolio consists of all types of fiberglass raw materials like direct roving, assembled roving, chopped strand, chopped strand mat, woven roving, yarn, etc. They provide products that are being utilised in markets across the optical fiber industry, automobile industry, railways, manufacturing of chemical equipment, manufacturing of sports equipment, construction work, electrical products, etc.

Jushi India’s key customers include Pentair India, DSM India, Chemical Process Piping (P) Ltd., Graphite India Ltd., Hindustan Composites Ltd., Sundaram Brake Lining (TVS Group), Rane Brake Lining Ltd., Masu Brakes (P) Ltd., Arvind PD Composites (P) Ltd., Akash OptiFibre Ltd., Indore Composites (P) Ltd., Finolex Cables Ltd., and others. India’s fiberglass market is growing at 8-10% with various sectors like railways, automobiles, optical fiber, among others, growing just as rapidly.
