Having already established a strong footprint in India, the company is now all set to expand in other countries
Lakshmi Precision Technologies Limited (LPT) is excitedly looking forward to participating in ITMA 2023, Milan trade fair. After the resounding response its products and solutions received at the 2019 edition of ITMA, the team at LPT is waiting eagerly for ITMA 2023 to commence. “ITMA is one of the largest international textile exhibitions. It is therefore a very important platform to showcase our products. We participated for the first time in the event in 2019 and received an excellentresponse. We hope to continue making a mark during this edition of the event too,” K. Jayakumar, Director (Operations), said in an exclusive interaction.
ITMA is also important for the company because while it continues to grow on the dometic turf, it aims to gradually increase its exports in the near future. “We were not involved in direct exports till now. We were only exporting through our associate company, LMW. We had been exporting in a small way with OHTCs to Turkey about two years ago. There is no doubting the fact that there is export potential for each one of our products. We are in discussion with agents and let’s hope that we will be able to expand our global footprint after ITMA 2023,” he mentioned.
Products at ITMA 2023
The company’s product range includes, ‘Gli-Clean’ – OHTCs, ‘Dynadoff – V1 and Dynadoff – NHANCE’- semi-automatic doffing solution for ringframes, ‘MagZfeed’ – magazine feeder for autoconers, ‘Aero-Lite’ – speed frame flyer and Dynamic Piecer – an innovative product for ring frame automatic piecing. Speaking about the company’s automation and digitisation initiatives, Jayakumar stated: “Our research and development team has contributed towards automation through our products like the Dynadoff. This product helps in enhancing productivity and in areas where human intervention is very high. Similarly, the MagZfeed helps in improving productivity with less human resources and in less time. Our automatic piecing solution also helps in reducing human fatigue and improves quality.”

Going into details regarding the key strengths of the company, Jayakumar said, “Primary is the performance of our products followed by cost-effective retrofit solutions. Being associated with LMW we wanted to focus on retrofitting, Compatibility with legacy machines is something that has very good market potential.
