Production Capacity & Expansion Plans

Nandan Denim grew its denim manufacturing capacity from 6 MMPA in FY04 to 71 MMPA in FY14 to a projected 110 MMPA in FY17. In FY14, the company has initiated its largest expansion in denim manufacturing capacity by nearly 40 MMPA, nearly 60 per cent of its existing capacity in one stroke. In FY14, it has invested in more than doubling its spinning capacity, from 54 TPD to 124 TPD. The company also has 10 MMPA capacity for processing shirting fabric.

Machines Installed

The company has installed Reggiani Printer, Tong Geng Jet Dyeing Machine, CBR & CDR line, Tsudakoma Airjet looms to enhance production capacity of Bottom-weight and Denim fabrics.

Global Presence

Nandan takes pride in supplying denim fabric to the best known international brands like Polo, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Target, Armani Exchange, Tommy Hilfiger and Ann Taylor.

The company exports denim to 28 countries.It has a strong dealer network spread across the world to enable easy and timely availability with direct contacts available in Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Egypt, Peru, Panama, Columbia and Korea.

Financial Performance

Revenue from operations increased from Rs. 1096.5 crore to Rs.1156.7 crore registering growth of 5.5%. Profits After Tax increased from Rs. 51.4 crore to Rs. 63.3 crore, a growth of 23.1%.
