Mario Crosta’s latest version of LISA 4 brushing machine presented

At ITMA Mario Crosta presented its latest version of “LISA 4”, the best-selling brushing/sueding machine for the past four years.

Since its market launch, LISA 4 has considerably simplified the brushing processing of fabrics, providing customers an effective and easier to use equipment. Its new version brushing machine, thanks to new technical configuration and geometry, allows a quicker and more accurate adjustment of all working parameters to process all kinds of fabrics without compromising on the benefits of the old version.

The Mario Crosta R&D department has developed the new release of LISA 4 with its focus on a more ergonomic way to work and on reduction of selvedge in order to increase the area of processing fabric.

Equipped with four great sized brushes the machine is divided into two separate parts and has draft cylinders with individual controls dedicated to better set the fabric tension. The new version is the right solution to meet growing demand of Lycra brushing fabrics for sportswear and underwear articles.

In the last few years, Mario Crosta, with the acquisition of MP Engineering Company, has emerged a major player in the technical textile market. Combining the long experience in the design of machines and plants with acquired know-how and with introduction of new professional figures, the company was able to enter a fast growing market, obtaining good results so far.

Mario Crosta wants to realize technologically advanced equipment which is user-friendly with easy maintenance. For this reason, the company has focused on modular design of machine aimed at cost reduction in terms of use and maintenance.

All Mario Crosta equipment are fully electronic controlled in order to obtain best results in terms of production and to reduce energy power consumption. For this reason the company obtained for the first time in 2012 the “Green Label Certification”.

Mario Crosta also presented the new model of hot-melt coating and laminating machine called “MP MELT”. Thanks to its new geometrical configuration, the machine works with a very low fabric tension solving non-uniformity problems, typical for knit and light fabrics coupling.
