Mohan Spintex’ $55 million weaving & processing expansion underway

Mohan Spintex India Ltd. (MSIL) is a vertically integrated textile group having installed capacity of 121,488 spindles (65% compact), 6,272 rotors, 4,800 TFO drums, 156 air jet looms producing 30,000 tons of premium yarn, 18 million meters of fabric and a million bed linen sheet sets per annum with a turnover of $100 million.

MSIL is currently undergoing massive expansion with an investment of $55 million, adding 168 wider-width airjet looms along with the establishment of a state-of-the-art process house encompassing bleaching, dyeing and printing capacity of 110,000 meters per day. This expansion includes the matched stitching capacity for converting the processed fabric into ready-to-use bed sheets / home linen products. The current expansion will generate an employment opportunity for about 2,000 people, in addition to the existing 3,000 employees. The second phase of expansion with similar weaving & processing capacities will be executed after 2 years.

The manufacturing facilities comply with the various technical certifications as well as 5S, ISO, GOTS, BCI, OEKOTEX, WRAP, SEDEX and CT PAT.

MSIL today is making an effort for sustainability and environmental protection with the establishment of Zero Liquid discharge.
