Nahar’s expansion plans are going as per schedule. The company’s expansion plan of spinning unit at village Lalru has already been completed and the machineries has started arriving at site. Ten Ring frames of 1632 spindles each i.e. 16320 spindles has already been installed and the balance 14880 spindles are likely to be installed by November/December, 2023.
On completion of expansion plans, company’s capacity will stand increase to 5,73,376 spindles and 1080 rotors. Nahar has also completed modernisation programme of across its spinning units and has installed 8 Vortex machines with 96 positions each and the same have become operational. This will lead to increase in production capacity by 40,000 tons p.a.
