Expansion

Nitin Spinner’s expansion strategy is well devised to meet the end application and dynamic needs of the market. The timely completion of its expansion allowed it to commence its commercial production well within the targeted dates. During 2016-17, the company completed expansion of its spinning unit and raised its overall capacity to a great extent. As a result, the company’s cotton yarn-manufacturing capacity increased from 38,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) to 50,000 TPA during the year.

In the knitting division also, Nitin added 14 knitting machines, taking the total machines to 63 and the production capacity of 9,000 TPA.

Spinning

Over the years, Nitin Spinners has strategically enhanced its production capacities. This has been possible through periodical installations of spindles and knitting machines. This has enabled the company to achieve higher productivity, efficient utilisation and carve a niche for itself on the country’s textile map.

During the year, Nitin completed the spinning capacity expansion project and commenced commercial production. The expanded capacities will allow the company to produce superfine compact premium yarns of up to 80 counts. This will add to its product range and allow it to widen the customer base.

Nitin Spinners ensures sufficient R&D trials are undertaken to meet customers’ specific quality demands. If necessary, weaving, knitting or dyeing is also done to understand and produce the required output.

The company forward integrated into knitted fabrics production by using 100% of its in-house yarn, and thus enhancing the margins.
