Savio’s latest products evoke good customer response

The Savio booth at ITMA 2015 had overwhelming response from stall visitors. The company presented the latest innovations in both winding and hi-bulk acrylic yarn processing. The star of the show was the Eco Pulsars DLS. The automatic linked winder sets new standard in the premium winding segment with its innovative power management system that brings the running costs down by almost 30 per cent as compared to the conventional design. It also significantly enhances the efficiency of the winding process.

Another innovation which was launched at the show was the Multicone, an advanced take-up system aimed at producing precision wound packages to suit the most demanding needs of yarn users.

Savio confirms some major orders finalized on the first day of the show. “We held the signing ceremony with the China Shandong Linqing Sanhe Textile Group for the order including 228 sets of the POLAR I-Direct Link System winding machines”, said Mr. Valter De Carli, India Regional Sales Vice President. Especially for Indian buyers the company’s target was to “SHOW & IMPRESS” as most of them came to see, not to buy.

“We proved that what matters to visitors is the quality of what you put on display, not the quantity. The design and layout of our stand were just spot on. People appreciated the clean open spaces and access to the products on display. Helpful staff was also there at all times to assist. Being the host of this edition, we organized some one-day tours to our manufacturing facility at Pordenone. We were pleased to see how people responded dedicating one full day to Savio only”, added Mr. Valter.

There were visitors from all regions in India, but compared to the previous edition of the show Gujarat was definitely more represented at the Savio stall.

Mr. Valter felt that the market is at present still in a “wait and see” mode, but some encouraging signs indicate that the worst part is over and therefore it is time to gear up for a much better future.
