Schmersal India was presented the Navabharat SME Business Excellence Award 2017 at a special function held in Mumbai on October 28. The Award is to felicitate the achievements of the SME sector and to support SMEs that have the potential to be world-class enterprises, has also to offer them a platform to promote themselves in partnering for sustainable growth.
The Awards for 2017 were given in several categories based on the size of the company and the amount and type of work performed.
There was a panel discussion on “GST & Demonetization – Its impact on the SME Sector”, followed by awards presentation in the presence of SME entrepreneurs and Government officials.
Mr. Sagar Bhosale, Managing Director, Schmersal India Pvt Ltd., said on the occasion: “The Indian SME sector is growing at an exceptionally fast pace and has truly become the backbone of India’s GDP growth“. Educating the audience on the need of industrial safety, he made an earnest request to take initiatives in implementing safety at their workplaces.
