SCHWING thermal cleaning system to figure at India ITME

SCHWING Fluid Technik GmbH will be participating in India ITME 2012 in a big way. It will be featuring its latest technology for thermal cleaning for maintenance of polymer removal in spin pack parts, spinning- & polymer-pumps, polymer-filter bundles and other machine components requiring polymer removal.

The German company is well known for worldwide competence in premium polymer removal. It offers state-of-the-art thermal cleaning technology together with an optimised post treatment procedure. The technology guarantees perfect cleaning of spinnerets and other contaminated production parts, which continuously provides trouble-free production and excellent spinning performance.

SCHWING will be offering information about its latest technology in thermal cleaning focusing on perfect cleaning, low energy usage with the strictest environmental compliance required by today’s increasingly stricter pollution regulation standards. The different models of spinneret, spinning-/ polymer-pump, polymer-filter & extrusion parts cleaning offered are essential for high quality production.

Depending on the application requirements SCHWING offers the best technologies with lowest operating cost. This includes its VACUCLEAN vacuum pyrolysis system, INNOVACLEAN fluidized bed system, MAXICLEAN convection furnace, COMPACTCLEAN gas heated system, and the HYDROLCLEAN “2 in 1” system, combining MAXICLEAN and Hydrolysis.

All systems are highly efficient and include intrasystems like afterburner or catalysts for environmental protection and operator safety. Depending on the kind of polymer and contamination, SCHWING can even offer systems and process know-how to clean assembled spin-packs, melt-pumps or extruder subsystems. The pack parts, screens, metal powder and the spinnerets are entirely clean after only one thermal cleaning and post treatment cycle.

Besides the cleaning quality, a measurable reduction in maintenance cost is realized. Successful thermal cleaning is a challenge and becomes a reality by using the SCHWING technology. It will also present its technology for cleaning candle and filter bundles. After this successful cleaning, efficient post-treatment and thorough inspection, these candles will have again low restarting pressure and a long cycle time.

“We recognize India’s huge growth in the synthetic fiber industry and requirements of producing more value added products in a cost effective way with maximum yields. Companies are recognizing the importance of our technology in proper cleaning of key process components like the spinpack and spinnerets which directly affects the quality of the finished yarn/fiber and yield. Our state of the art equipment does the task backed up by our own experience operating our own contract cleaning services in multiple locations worldwide,” stated Thomas Schwing, Managing Director.

SCHWING is represented in India by Inditech International of Mumbai.
