Shahi Exports elevates sustainability as a Key Partner at Bharat Tex 2024

Shahi Exports, India’s largest apparel manufacturer and exporter, announced its participation as the Sustainability Partner at Bharat Tex 2024, a prestigious event showcasing the latest trends and innovations in the textile and apparel sector. The company collaborated with several stakeholders at the event to elevate its sustainable and innovative initiatives.

  • Shahi was an exhibitor: The company showcased a wide array of products that include denim twill bottoms, soft wovens, and knitwear from eco-friendly materials to cutting-edge fabric innovations. The stall served as a platform to engage and share insights into Shahi’s new initiatives and journey to inspire others to join the movement towards responsible consumption and production.
  • IAF collaboration: Shahi announced its membership with the International Apparel Federation (IAF) , the world’s leading federation for apparel manufacturers (SME) brands, their associations, and the supporting industry. This platform brings its members together to jointly strengthen sustainable supply chains and work on industry standardisation, collaboration, and inclusiveness of solutions.
  • Engaging in Industry Dialogue: Shahi’s thought leaders shared their insights and expertise across a series of engaging panel sessions. Mr. Harish Ahuja, Managing Director, was involved in a panel discussion on ‘Vision 2047 in Textiles’ with Niti Aayog. Following this, engagements continued with Mr. Anant Ahuja, Head of ESG, speaking in a panel on ‘Doing Business in India’ hosted by Invest India. Gauri Sharma, AGM, Communications & Sustainability Innovation, participated in a session, ‘Redefining Natural Fibres: Calibration for High-Value Products,’ exploring innovative approaches to sustainability and product development. Mr. Deepak Rautela, AVP Organizational Development, also participated in a Masterclass with Good Business Lab.’ Additionally, our exclusive participation in the CXO Roundtable facilitated collaboration with industry peers on strategic initiatives.
