He further added that spinning mills, traders of spinning machine spares and marketing agencies are the target audience that the company hopes will visit their stall in large numbers at the premier textile machinery trade expo.

“Exports have been quite good for us in recent times. Approximately 30%-35% of our business comes from the export market,” Mr. Chandrasekaran stated and added: “Our key export markets include Iran, Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey and Mexico. The emerging export markets that hold promise include, European and African countries, as well as the South and Central American markets.”

FY 2018-19 proved good for Sheltronics. Highlighting some of the achievements of the company during the year, Mr. Chandrasekaran said: “We have installed 30 SEDAC-16 in Drawframes RSB 851, D30, D35 and D40 at PT Elegant Group Mills (Aditya Birla Group) in Indonesia. Similarly, we have successfully launched our SEDAC-18 in Turkey, Indonesia and Mexico markets.”

Citing a few technical achievements, he said: “We have come up with a technology that enables upgradation of drawframe machines. Old drawframe machines with our upgradation can be made to run as good as new machines, resulting in enormous investment savings for mill owners. The upgradation helps improve the yarn quality of 15-year-old drawframe machines, at par with the latest machines, at an affordable price. The improved quality supports yarn realization. Leading drawframe manufacturers in different parts of the world have adopted our autolevelling technology to meet competition in the textile market.”

Throwing light on the company’s modern infrastructure, he said: “We are a team of technocrats. With our high-end electronic assembly units, our products meet international quality and safety standards. Our Research & Development division is equipped with the latest testing equipment to evaluate the hardware and software requirements, before launching any product.”
