Shreyaskar Chaudhary presented ‘The Pride of Central India’ Award

Shreyaskar Chaudhary, MD, Pratibha Syntex Ltd., has been feted with the Pride of Central India by the Dainik Bhaskar Group. Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Aviation Minister, presented the award during a program held in New Delhi on December 1, 2022.

Shreyaskar essayed a stellar role in generating employment in the state of MP. Today over 6500 people are working under the Pratibha Syntex banner. The company is in expansion mode and will soon be launching a new manufacturing factory in Ujjain. The new facility will be employing 4000 additional people, 80% of whom will be women.

To bring marginalized people into the mainstream, Pratibha Syntex is running Gyanpeeth Training Centre on campus. Under the Deendayal Upadhyay Gramin Kaushal Yojana soft-skills and functional training is provided to the youth from rural India. During training, the rural youth are provided free accommodation and food. After completing the course the people are provided assured employment. Under the program, as many as 5200 people are trained so far.

To increase the socio-economic status of its employees, Pratibha Syntex gifted a dream home to 28 employees and is in the process to provide another 100 employees. To ensure that workforce has a comfortable life, Shreyaskar distributed washing machines, refrigerators, mixer grinders, water purifiers, sewing machines, and fixed deposits through Fairtrade fund.

Pratibha Syntex’s CSR arm CMC Trust has facilitated around 7800 cataract operations in last 18 months. A computer and a dress design and tailoring lab is established in the government girls’ school Sagore to empower girls and make them future ready. Around 1500 students are benefiting from the initiative annually. Pratibha Syntex is also working on value-based education. Sessions were conducted in various schools on moral education in association with Vichaar Foundation.

Additionally, Pratibha Syntex directly works with almost 30000 farmers on organic and regenerative agriculture, with a key focus on improving soil health, animal husbandry and livelihood.
