The Toyota stall attracted a lot of customers and is hopeful of bagging firm orders. Currently the spinning segment is going through mixed trends where in certain set of customers are in lot of strain, due to non-availability of the cotton in the early part of the year and now it is cash crunch. However it is a temporary phase. Now Government is taking necessary steps to ensure the cotton availability. Ongoing investments in weaving and garment sectors will have a positive impact on back end process such as spinning and we expect to have a good 2017-18 for spinning sector”, added Mr. Shimizu.
