Tsudakoma technology accent on value addition, energy saving

TM-Dec-12-64_1Tsudakoma Corp. participated in India-ITME 2012 in a big way. While setting “Smart Ecology” as a backbone theme, Tsudakoma exhibited labor- and energy-saving jet looms that harmonize ecology with production efficiency, quality and value addition.

The ZAX9100 presented by the company is provided with the “Weave Navigation System.” It weaves a wide range of fabrics like dress material, denim, worsted fabric, sheeting, terry towel, glass fabric, tire cord, airbag and other technical fabrics. The best quality fabrics are woven at the lowest running cost with due consideration for the environment.

TM-Dec-12-66_2With its various devices such as the 6-color weft selection, the EPL Electronic Planetary Leno motion, the EIS Electronic Independent Selvage motion, and the electric cutter, the ZAX9100 from the company can easily weave value-added fabrics and other fabrics that were formerly limited to rapier looms while keeping quality high.

The PSS Programmable Start System helps to reduce stop marks. This exhibit employs the CCL Catch Cord-Less that makes catch cords unnecessary. Problems relating to catch cords are eliminated. All this stabilizes the loom operation.

Tsudakoma always works with labor-savings in mind, too. When provided with the APR automatic defective pick remover, a defective pick is automatically removed to resume loom operation. This allows the operator to take charge of many more looms, resulting in labor savings.

TM-Dec-12-66_1The company has also developed the Versa-Terry System to take advantage of its terry weaving knowledge. Tsudakoma employs several systems and created new technology exclusively for terry weaving. The ZAX9100-Terry can weave various designed towels, such as multi-height and multi-cycle (3 to 7 picks) pile towels, all with a soft touch and feel.

With the enhanced basic abilities of high-speed, wide versatility, high-quality, energy-savings, and operability, it has a real user-friendliness. The “PSC Programmable Speed Control” reduces the speed during difficult border sections improving loom efficiency.

The ZAX9100-Terry also has its focus on energy conservation. It inserts weft with low air-pressure, employing the “twin-nozzle valve” and an optimum air-route reduces air consumption by 10 per cent.

The new X-leno (electric cross leno) is provided for better response to high speed and easy maintenance.
