V-Xpress strengthens appointment delivery for Quick Commerce Growth

Over 40 dedicated centres handle 10,000 tonnes of monthly deliveries, with volumes targeted to double over the next year

V-Xpress, the express cargo arm of V-Trans (India) Ltd. and a Green Channel partner to leading quick commerce companies, is strengthening its Appointment Delivery service to support the growing requirements of quick commerce, organised retail and modern trade. With a service level exceeding 90%, the company enables businesses to schedule deliveries around pre-agreed dates and confirmed warehouse receiving slots.

The service addresses a key challenge for suppliers, as missed receiving slots can result in waiting time, rejected consignments, penalties and delayed stock availability. By aligning shipment planning with confirmed appointments, V-Xpress helps businesses improve delivery predictability and maintain replenishment schedules. Its solutions also serve retail chains and Canteen Stores Department (CSD) locations.

Dedicated Capacity and Technology Integration

V-Xpress operates more than 40 dedicated centres with a combined storage capacity of 50,000 sq. ft. The Appointment Delivery service currently handles approximately 10,000 tonnes of cargo monthly, with the company targeting a doubling of volumes over the next year. New touchpoints in the Narasapura and Dabaspet industrial areas will further strengthen regional connectivity.

Technology supports the service through GPS-based tracking, last-mile shipment visibility and electronic proof of delivery (e-POD). API integration with partner platforms is in its final stages and is expected to enhance shipment data exchange and visibility across delivery operations.

“Our Appointment Delivery service helps quick commerce and modern trade suppliers meet receiving schedules, reduce delays and keep goods moving efficiently,” said Aditya Shah, Executive Director, V-Trans (India) Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer, V-Xpress.

Southern Network Expansion to Create 150+ Jobs

The Business Partner-led network covers Bengaluru, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Mangalore, Davangere, Sirsi, Bagalkot and Devanahalli, as well as the Harohalli, Jigani, Hindupur and Bidadi industrial areas.
