Founders Day celebrations at Textile Association (India)

The Founders Day celebrations of The Textile Association (India), South India Unit, were held in Coimbatore on May 18. The highlight of the event was a Founders Day Technical Seminar on ‘Ingineered Solutions for Quantum Leap in Quality and Productivity’ by Premier Evolvics.

Mr. K.M. Viswanathan, Vice President, The Textile Association (India), South India Unit, Coimbatore, in his welcome address, observed that as the association entered its 69th year, it should remember the relent efforts of its predecessors that had been behind its growth and contribution to the textile industry all these years.

Delivering the keynote address, Mr. E. Satyanarayana, Vice President of the Association, recalled the pioneering work done by its founders, Mr. K. Srinivasan, Mr. G.V. Duraisamy Naidu and Mr. G.K. Sundaram. He pointed out how their inspiring lives were examples for hard work enabling people to reach great heights.

Mr. Srinivasan, CEO, Premier Evolvics, while delivering the technical seminar, gave an overview of Premier and its Innovations. Giving a brief insight into Premier Evolvics’ history he mentioned how the company has emerged a leading player in the field of quality testing, online clearing and monitoring products for the textile industry. He gave detailed inputs on the various products of Premier Evolvics and how they enable improvement in different parameters such as quality and productivity in textile mills.

This was followed by a presentation on Premier Evolvics’ popular ‘Ultimo’ spindle monitoring system by Mr. Guruprasad, Senior Textile Technologist from the company. The presentation included detailed explanation about the spindle monitoring system’s key features and its various advantages. Case studies and customer experiences were also shared by Mr. Guruprasad as part of the presentation.

The technical seminars were followed by a lively question and answer session.
