Mr. Peter Spiller has taken over as SSM’s Sales Director for Far Eastern Region from Mr. Horst Lüchinger, who served the company for more than 16 years.
In his new position, Mr. Peter Spiller will be responsible for the sales and promotion of the well-known SSM products in the Far Eastern region. SSM is the brand and trend-setter that drives the global market in winding technology. Their competence lies in the handling of yarn during winding and yarn processing operations, to obtain best package quality that combines all the necessary characteristics. This serves as a foundation for the optimization of quality and efficiency in the downstream processes.
After graduating as textile engineer from the College of Technology in Rapperswil, Switzerland, Mr. Spiller joined Sulzer Rüti as design engineer. Later he moved into sales, where his new function led him to various foreign assignments in the US, Japan and South Africa.
Despite the competitive situation in the textile machinery business, SSM has been able to maintain its market leadership and to excel within the holding company Schweiter Technologies. SSM will continue to strengthen its personnel, thereby retaining its strong market position.
