Rosink confident of growing Indian market demand

Founded in 1947, the year of Indian Independence, Rosink is a family-owned German company developing sophisticated solutions for cot maintenance and carding flat workshops and can coilers. In 2002 Rosink acquired the textile service machinery division (cot maintenance and carding flat workshop) of Peter Wolters. In the past 12 years the company has  innovated and renewed its products offering a wide and attractive product portfolio. Asia and Oceania, the Middle East and South America are some of the key markets for Rosink globally.

Mr. Martin Schoolkate, Sales Director, Rosink Gmbh, says: “With over 45 million spindles, India is the second largest market worldwide and thus a very important for us. We’ve been fighting for 7 or 8 years in the Indian market which has been highly price sensitive. But this is changing slowly, and quality comes more and more into the focus of many spinning mill managers. Quality counts more than the initial cost of the machine, and this is where Rosink has some significant advantages compared to our competition. It was a long hard way, but finally Rosink sold the first fully automatic cot grinding machines in 2013-2014 in India. And we are proud to mention that our customers are fully satisfied with our machines and that Rosink could help them to obtain a remarkable yarn quality improvement and thus a strategic advantage compared to other spinning mills”.

Asked about Rosink’s relationship with Saurer, Mr. Schoolkate said: “Rosink is an independent manufacturer and collaborates with other well-known OEM business partners like SAURER, Trützschler, Rotorcraft and others. Regarding our relationship with SAURER, we can say that every rubber cot equipped to a new spinning machine is pre-grinded by a Rosink cot grinding machine. In Indian markets Rosink has supplied machines to the Vardhman Group and Sportking Industries and also works with LMW. We are sure that in the future as quality becomes more and more important for Indian mills, there will be increasing demand for our products, and Rosink will be able to offer the best solution for the Indian customers”.

Best quality and service, long experience, local customer support and fast and professional after-sales service make Rosink products stand out.

Some of the key features of a Rosink machine are that it can grind almost every roller type in the same machine. The grinding stone used has a width of approx. 410 mm, hence the roller has complete contact with the stone. Thus a real grinding process is possible. Further, grinding offers different technical advantages.

Rosink cot grinding machines at new Saurer Group in Suzhou

Almost 10 years ago Rosink installed its first fully automatic cot grinding machine, model SZ1 A, at Saurer Group’s Chinese factory at Suzhou in Jiangsu province. Today Rosink proudly announces the latest development: new special holding mechanism that allows trouble-free and accurate grinding cots for texturing nip rollers.

The close co-operation between Rosink and Saurer Components’ Accotex and Texparts specialists resulted in a product that allows Saurer Components to use the Rosink grinding machine for an even wider range of applications. The new holding mechanism will be applied, together with a holding mechanism for long cots for pre-spinning in the multi-functional semi-automatic cot grinding machine, model SZ1 HA, which was recently purchased by Rosink’s long-term business partner Saurer Components GmbH in Münster, Germany. The grinding machine will be installed at Saurer’s facility in Suzhou soon, along with a universal hydraulic press, model AZ11H.

Since many years multiple Rosink (and former Peter Wolters) cot grinding machines are performing an excellent job at Saurer Components facilities in Münster, Singapore and in Suzhou.

Rosink has multiple new product developments that were engineered in Germany and introduced to the textile industry. One example is the most powerful Rosink cot grinding machine SZ1 A TWIN. This machine enables fully automatic grinding of a double pair ring spinning top rollers. Its production capacity is 500 top roller pairs an hour, and more.
