The SKAAT Group received excellent response at Texfair 2015 with a lot of positive enquires. SKAAT had two important launches – “the SKAAT Twin Core” and “SKAAT Double roving Injection”.

SKAAT Twin Core is one of the versatile systems of core yarn manufacturing, to produce special fabrics for different applications. It is a combination of soft and rigid core. Both the systems are incorporated in one ring frame. The core stretch is controlled independently by individual feeding, and the resultant yarn can be produced at different stretch levels.

SKAAT also introduced a special kind of industrial touch computer with hassle-free programming that controls the yarn to get uniform core material content. A variety of filaments have been developed recently to enhance soft stretch with renewed comfort by reducing pressure on the body.

Most of the fabrics made from these yarns are mainly used in swim suits, bathing suits, net body suits, lingerie, pencil fit denim and jeans, sacks, leggings, socks, compressing garments such as cycling shorts, surgical hose, wrestling singlet, etc.

In the case of SKAAT Double Roving Injection, ‘Two Base Yarn Roving’ is directly fed through the middle roller for continuous production of ‘base yarn’ by the machine drive. One set of additional roving guides is provided in the back zone to guide the base yarn roving. Advance digital encoders help monitor the speed of the front roller and the back roller separately and act as ‘Slub missing Stop Motion’. Touch industrial computer with 7” wide screen is provided for easy and hassle-free programming.

The year 2014-15 has been good for SKAAT so far, and the company is expecting 10-15 per cent growth in 2015.
