All set to showcase next-generation power-saving fans at Texfair 2026
The name Tesco Fanz will immediately ring a bell within the textile fraternity. Over the years, the company has steadily carved a niche for itself by challenging conventional, power-hungry fan systems and replacing them with high-performance, cost-effective solutions. With a sharp focus on energy efficiency and engineering excellence, Tesco Fanz continues to redefine industrial airflow management for textile mills.

Established in 2006 in Coimbatore, the textile hub of India, Tesco Engineering Corporation was founded with a clear and focused vision — to deliver energy-efficient, reliable and cost-effective industrial ventilation solutions. The company was created to bridge a significant gap in the industrial ventilation market, where conventional fans consumed excessive power while offering limited long-term returns.
Tesco Fanz specializes in high-performance, power-saving industrial fan solutions serving primarily to textile mills (Humidification Fans), Steel & Power Plants (Man Cooler Fans), processing industries (Tea, Paper, Tobacco & Leather factories), Drying fans for Food & Ceramic industry), Gen-sets (Cooling fans) & heavy industries. The company’s corporate office and modern factory are located in Coimbatore.
In a freewheeling interaction, R. Devaganeshan, Senior Project Director of the company, shared insights into Tesco’s performance, technological strengths, participation in Texfair 2026, and future roadmap.
A Strong Performance in FY 2025–26
Speaking about the company’s performance in FY 2025–26, Devaganeshan described the year as both progressive and growth-oriented. “2025–26 has been a strong and progressive year for Tesco Engineering Corporation. We witnessed significant growth in large-scale textile mill installations, particularly in mills with over 50,000 spindles. Rising awareness about energy efficiency and increasing power tariffs have accelerated demand for our solutions,” he said.

“In collaboration with the Indian Textile Federation (ITF), we have successfully installed over 1,000 high-efficiency power-saving fans across various textile mills in Tamil Nadu. As of February 2026, these installations have collectively delivered an impressive energy saving of 14,396,381 kWh,” he revealed.
He also expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. Prabhu Dhamodaran, Convenor, for his valuable support and leadership in driving this impactful initiative forward.
The company also strengthened its R&D investments, enhanced production capabilities, and expanded its footprint across India — particularly North India — while also growing its presence in tea withering and engine cooling fan segments.

Diverse Product Portfolio for Multiple Industries
Tesco’s industrial fan solutions are available in various diameters – 900mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm, and 1800mm – and are widely used in:
- Textile Industry: High-efficiency humidification fans for improved airflow, temperature control, and energy savings.
- Tea Industry: Withering fans to remove surface moisture and regulate moisture content.
- Steel Plants: High airflow compressor cooler fans for effective heat dissipation and improved working conditions.
- Mining Industry: Engine and radiator cooling fans designed for rugged conditions.
- Power Plants: Optimized fan systems for enhanced operational efficiency.
- Heavy-Duty Diesel Generators: Reliable cooling fans for high-capacity gensets.
- Heat Exchangers: Precision-engineered fans for thermal management.
- Agricultural Sprayers: Lightweight fans ensuring uniform spray coverage.
- Anti-Smog Guns: Air-purification fans for urban pollution control.
- Upcoming Segment: Centrifugal fan blade solutions.
“All our products are engineered for high airflow performance, measurable energy savings, longer motor life, and easy retrofit installation,” he emphasized.

Integrated Manufacturing Infrastructure
Tesco Fanz’s two modern manufacturing facilities in Coimbatore span over 10,000 sq. ft., with all major operations functioning under one roof — casting, moulding, manufacturing, stocking, assembly, balancing, packaging, and dispatch.
A distinctive feature of the facility is the integration of design and production. “Our in-house design team operates within the production floor itself, enabling seamless collaboration and swift customization. This close integration allows us to tailor every solution precisely to our clients’ specifications,” Devaganeshan explained.
Key Infrastructure Highlights:
- Dedicated manufacturing and assembly facility
- Skilled technical and engineering team
- Dynamic fan balancing machine
- Advanced testing equipment
- Airflow and endurance testing setups
The plant currently has a production capacity of 3,000 fans per month.

“With streamlined production systems and modular blade designs, we efficiently cater to bulk textile mill projects as well as specialized heavy-industry requirements,” he added.
R&D: The Cornerstone of Innovation
A strong R&D focus has been central to Tesco’s growth trajectory.
The company’s research initiatives concentrate on:
