VXL showcases complete solution for waste handling and innovative central baling station

The Coimbatore-based VXL Group (VXL Systems and VXL Ring Travellers Pvt. Ltd.) has lined up exciting new products for display at India ITME 2016.

Interacting with The Textile Magazine, Mr. R. Govindaraju and Mr. N. Damodharan, Managing Directors of the group, gave an overview of the group’s participation in the premier textile machinery trade show.

According to Mr. Govindaraju, presently everyone has a feeling that being in the textile industry is not a viable option. “For them India ITME 2016 will offer a platform where everyone will get to know about the various new technologies with respect to productivity, automation, energy savings, sustainability, etc., by which they can make their units more competitive,” stated Mr. Govindaraju.

Continuing further on the group’s participation in the trade show, Mr. Damodharan said: “We are participating in the event for the fourth time. We are displaying  complete solution for waste handling, including an innovative central baling station at India ITME 2016. We are also launching a new range of travellers, specially designed for compact spinning, at the event.”

Listing down the key factors that helped the company stand out from the crowd, Mr. Govindaraju said: “We are a one-stop solution provider for all the waste collection and baling requirements. We have been successfully serving the industry for the past 25 years. We have more than 4,000 installations across India. Our systems are most reliable and consume less power. Another area of our strength is aftersales service with a dedicated team of engineers.”

The company has set up a state-of-the-art facility to manufacture the new-generation high efficiency fans and autobaling systems. Known for its continual R&D initiatives, the company has carved a niche for itself in the field of ring travellers. “In our ring traveller unit, we have developed new process techniques to produce the new range of travellers, specially designed for compact spinning,” said Mr. Damodharan.

Some of the major customers of the group include reputed names such as Sri Shanmugavel Group of Mills, Ramco Group of Mills, and Premier Group of Mills, all of Tamil Nadu, Vasantha Spinners and Ravali Spinnners, both of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat Ambuja and Narmada Spinning Mill, both of Gujarat, and S.T. Cotex and Sel Textiles, both of Ludhiana, etc.

Mr. Govindaraju observed: “Design strength, sophisticated engineering, intelligent technology and dedicated customer support have been the key reasons behind the group’s success over the years. We have an exclusive, dedicated team of highly-trained engineers to tend to the service work at the shortest time. We also ensure that all the required spares are supplied on time. The company also has a team of experienced application engineers for helping out customers with traveller selection and to achieve better quality and production.”

On the company’s performance in 2016, Mr. Damodharan said: “Despite the recessionary trends, we have been able to maintain the topline in the first half. The introduction of the new range of high efficiency centrifugal fans and central baling station has been an important milestone reached by our group this year.”
